IRIMBILIYAM, September 9, 2026: Ideal International School, Irimbiliyam, felicitated its budding sports and language stars in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, honouring the students who brought laurels to the school through their impressive performances in the North Zone Kids Athletics Fest and Lingua Gusto English Fest.
The school’s debut contingent at the North Zone Kids Athletics Fest, held on September 9, comprised 36 participants, with teams of six representing three different levels in both the Boys’ and Girls’ categories. The Level 1 team, comprising students from Grades I to III, secured a place among the Top Eight Schools in the competition, marking an encouraging beginning to the school’s participation in the event.
The athletics team was coached by Mr Mohammed Jamsheer, with the support of Ms Sreya, Mr Abdul Hadi, Mrs Fathima Nazeera, Mrs Sinija and Vice Principal Mrs Dhanya Syam.
The ceremony also celebrated the achievements of 35 students who participated in the Lingua Gusto English Fest, organised by the Malappuram Central Sahodaya and hosted by MES Central School, Tirur, on August 22, 2026. The school emerged as the First Runner-Up in Category I, showcasing the students’ growing confidence and competence in English language activities. The event was convened by Mrs Thayyubul Faseela and Mrs Sinija.
The felicitation ceremony was graced by Manager Mr Ummer Punathil, Principal Mrs Aysha Siddika and Vice Principal Mrs Dhanya Syam, in the presence of Mr Sakeer Hussain, HOD, Ideal Value Education Centre, and Mr P.T. Anakkara, Media In-charge, Ideal Campus.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Ummer Punathil appreciated the students and faculty members for their dedication and teamwork. “Every achievement begins with the courage to participate and the commitment to excel. These young talents have shown us that consistent effort, guided by dedicated mentors, can turn potential into achievement,” he said.
Mrs Thayyubul Faseela, Convenor of the English Fest, and Mr Mohammed Jamsheer, Athletics Coach, also addressed the gathering, congratulating the students and encouraging them to continue striving for excellence.
The programme concluded on a proud note, celebrating the budding stars of language and sports and the dedicated faculty members who continue to nurture their talents and aspirations.
